Awareness on Madaras Eye
These days’ people are
in fear regarding the increasing rate of health issue called Madaras
Eye which refers to infection of the outer membrane of the eyeball
and the inner eyelid. It is also called as pink eye. In order to
bring an awareness among the people CKSK held a short awareness
program. Mrs. Sunitha, Asha worker of Banakal vicinity informed the
women of SHG regarding causes, the symptoms and treatment regarding
Madaras Eye. As a precaution she also said that our surroundings,
house, body parts should be maintained clean and tidy. Total 45
women participated in this session.
