Youth annual day & Sports Meet

On 15th January, 2017, the Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra (CKSK)  organized “Youth annual day & sports meet 2016-17” at Anugraha School ground, Ujire. 150 youths participated in the event and exhibited their talents in various sports and cultural activities.

The program was inaugurated by Mr. Prabhakar, Assistant youth empowerment and sports Officer, Belthangady Taluk at 10.00 am. Through his speech he motivated the youths to grab each and every opportunities provided by the different NGOs, governments and by the other stakeholders to build strong career. Sports make a person to be mentally and physically strong and cultural events give happiness and nurture our ethnicity. So all should actively participate in the events organized and should bring name and fame to the Organization, family and to the community.

Mr. Francis Danthy, the ChildFund India Project Manager of CKSK  opinioned that the CKSK with the support of ChildFund India is organizing various programs for our enrolled children and community since 16 years with the good intention of supporting deprived, excluded and vulnerable children of the society. So I request all the children to take active participation in all the project programs and involve yourself in your respective youth clubs so that you can build up a bright future and contribute some ting better towards your community.

10 different sports events were organized for the youths. At 2.30 Pm youths from different youth clubs had given different cultural programs. Ms. Ramya, Guripalls welcomed, Mr. Padmanabha thanked and Mr. Sunil managed the MC.

At. 3.30 pm valedictory ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Deviprasad, President of Press club, Belthangady. He thanked the Organization behalf of all the members of his club, for rendering services to the poor and needy mass of the society in terms of various activities and congratulated the winners of the events.

Mr. Namdev Rao, master of ceremonies of Young Challengers youth club, Mundaje had congratulated the Organization, staffs and the youths for arranging the beautiful ceremony.  And asked youth clubs to register the clubs to get different facilities under government schemes. He motivated the youths by adding that he will arrange training to all youth club representatives on club registration and about different government facilities for youth clubs.

Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas, the Director of CKSK in his presidential speech, motivated the youths to participate in community developmental activities which help them to create their own identity in the society. Youth clubs are very good platform to youths to work together for the development of their community in which they live in and to give a message of unity to the community.

The prizes were distributed to the youths. 89 enrolled youths have got solar lanterns given by ChildFund India in order to support their education and motivate their participation in project activities. Ms. Thulacy Malebettu welcomed, Ms. Swathi Malebettu thanked the gathering and Ms. Emilda managed the MC.
